On the 20.10. we will watch two short documentaries that both take place in Colombia. Coming Down the Mountain by Paloma Duplat, and Tierrita by Leonie Pock, both (visual) anthropologists.After the Film we have the chance to talk with them and ask questions - Leonie will be @kinoinderreitschule and Paloma will be live on Zoom from Colombia.

Leonie Pock follows a rural community in Guayabo,Colombia, while they are preparing themselves for a trial regarding the ownership of their territory. In the past, large landowners allied with paramilitary groups to seize land for large-scale monoculture, cattle ranching, and territorial control - a violent legacy that continues to reverberate until today.
