Service Civil International organizes voluntary projects who contribute to peace in a broad understanding of the term: Social justice, sustainability, solidarity, and nonviolent resolution of conflicts. This year, SCI Schweiz is celebrating 100 years of their engagement. Two short films from their archive give insight into their voluntary work activities after a natural desaster and on an organic farm. In the discussion after the films, Walter Flury and Michael Ryffel, who were both involved in the projects which are portrayed, will share their experience and memories of the projects.
